PRIVACY POLICY
Mihai Erdely (trade name) - Sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) uses all personal data (entered by customers in their orders details such as address, phone number, emails) provided by a customer strictly for delivering the goods and providing a better experience for all customers. We do not share the personal data given by a client to any type of third-party organization except local or EU law enforcement agencies upon their legal request.
Newsletter information
We use The Newsletter Plugin to collect emails for our newsletters. Subscribing is only posibile by double opt-in concent from you.
We hate spam and for sure you do to, therefore we have limited our newsletters to 14 per year. A general one every month and 2 others for special promotions on holidays like Christmas or Easter.
Newsletter stores all the subscribers’ data inside the WordPress blog database, and does not transfer any data to any services of their company. Therefore, a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is not needed.
Data conservation: We store your name and email address for a period of 3 years unless you decide to unsusbscribe earlyer using the link provided in the confirmation email or by email at office@mikesfactory.com
Data modification, integration, export ad portability: You can change your data following the link received in the confirmation email. We can provide you with a copy of your personal data for export or portability purposes or delete all your data on request by email at office@mikesfactory.com
Personal data management:
We DO NOT send unsolicited correspondence, either physical or digital. NO unsolicited newsletters or any other marketing related information (except for customers that have subscribed for our monthly newsletter)
Other exceptions are represented by orders confirmation emails and related emails that that helps customers keep track and be updated on the status of their orders.
Customer accounts are disabled in our store. Returning customers need to enter their delivery information each time they place a new order.
We store your personal data provided in the ordering forms for a minimum of 1 year and maximum 3 years. All data can be exported or deleted by request at office@mikesfactory.com
However, we do collect cookies that are required to run the store. These are presented below:
WooCommerce Cookies
To keep track of cart data, WooCommerce makes use of 3 cookies:
- woocommerce_cart_hash
- woocommerce_items_in_cart
- wp_woocommerce_session_
The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and help WooCommerce know when the cart data changes. The final cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored in these cookies.
